(Tallmadge) – The Summit County Medical Examiner’s office has conducted autopsies on two bodies found in a wooded residential area over the weekend. It’s believed the badly decomposed bodies are those of Wendy Ralston and her 5-year-old son. They were reportedly wrapped in bedding material.
The bodies were found as Tallmadge police were checking out a report of a missing woman along Stone Creek Drive. Neighbors tell Fox 8 that a woman and her young son haven’t been seen for a few weeks.
Tallmadge Police say they did have a missing person's report filed Aug. 7th for 31-year old Wendy Ralston and her five year old son.
On Monday, the Summit County Medical Examiner confirmed one of the bodies was Wendy Ralston. They're still working to identify the other body.
The medical examiner’s office tells the Akron Beacon Journal that it appears the woman had been dead for several weeks, with nothing much left but bones.
