(Cleveland) -- This season, any fan watching an Indians game at Progressive Field can do it while having a sit-down meal. The Terrace Club will be open to fans holding any ticket for the ballpark.
Indians spokesman Joel Hammond tells WTAM 1100 that until the end of last season, the Terrace Club out in left field had been open only to season ticket holders. The Indians tried an experiment in which the club's fourth floor would be open to all ticket holders during selected games.
Hammond says that led to the decision to open the Terrace Club and its full menu to all Indians fans.
Reservations will be required. They can be made through opentable.com, or by calling 216-420-4700 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The general public can make reservations starting March 31.
Season ticket holders will have the benefit of discounted food at the Terrace Club.
